We have made it! Our long drive cross country ended Thursday night as we pulled into Longwood, Florida.
It is like a tropical forest here. I went walking the other day and two feet infront of me were six deer just staring back at me. Brandon has already been fishing and caught plenty of lizards.

Our drive was great. We saw some beautiful places. New Orleans was probably our favorite. I especially Loved all the Old Mansions that we toured and someday could live in.
Eamon did great. He probably cried 20 minutes of the entire 38 hour drive. And when he got fussy we handed him red licorice and that kept him occupied for at least 2o minutes.
We made our way through eight states starting with California then Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. The pictures of us along the Mississippi River in New Orleans and the Museum district in Houston, TX.
There were plenty of small towns and I think the next time we make the drive Brandon and I are wanting to do a documentary of people that live in small towns. (Small meaning they are the only house around for miles and miles and miles.)
We loved the journey and how beautiful it was across the United States, we definitely don't need to be making a trip like that though for quite a while. Once is enough for now.
Can't wait to find out what new adventure is in front of us.

I can't believe Eamon never cried and did so well! That is GREAT! I'd be happy too though if given licorice everytime I started to cry :) Sad you guys are clear across the country, but excited for you to start a whole new adventure!!
Roadtrips are so much fun! I'm glad Eamon was so good for you, he's such a sweet little guy! Longwood sounds beautiful, as well as some of the other places on your journey. We love hearing from you!
