Eamon Jai Baron

He is here! Eamon Jai Baron was born Sunday, October 19th at 7:08 p.m. He tipped the scales at 6 lbs, 7 oz and measured 19 1/4 inches. We got the name Eamon (pronounced A-min) from an Australian swimmer that was in the last olympics. It also means "protector." His middle name is Thai for Heart. Sienna did so good with the delivery. We went in Sunday morning and we were so excited to get an ocean view room at Hoag in Newport Beach. Our room overlooked Newport Harbor and the ocean. It was awesome to see the sunrise every morning and see all the boats coming in and out of the little harbor. Sienna had been having contractions since last Thursday, so she was relieved when the nurse told us she was going to keep her there because she in labor. The birth was one of the most amazing and incredible experiences ever. I could not believe that was our son that was coming into the world. He is tons of fun and we are soo soo excited to have him with us! We really want to thank everyone for all the phone calls, meals, house cleanings, prayers, gifts, and anything else a lot of you have done. We are so incredibly blessed to have so many people who love us and are there for us. We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Here are a few pictures of the little guy.

Not sure who he looks like. People have said Sienna and some have said me. I really hope, for his sake and his future success with the ladies, that he ends up looking like his mom. He has her beautiful blue eyes, so that is great! We love him tons and are so excited to have him here finally!

Brighton's Shower!

Yea for Brighton!

She is the cutest, most adorable, beautiful and fun person!

I am so excited that Jordan has met someone as great and cool as her. She had a shower out in LA and it was so fun to see her. I can't wait for six more weeks and then they will be hitched!

Congratulations to the both of them.

Hopefully my next blog will consist of me having a baby.

Delicious Thai Food!

We were so excited to have Jordan here for the weekend we wanted to make some delicious thai food.

Brandon has been experimenting new thai dishes and I must say he has become the quite the cook.

We had delicious yellow curry, panang and a wonderful vegetable stir-fry.

Jordan and Brandon are the best chefs ever!

Yes on Prop 8!

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to write a quick post to remind all of you California residents to talk to anyone and everyone you can about supporting Proposition 8. We all have so many resources that we can use to help this cause and it is one that will affect all of us. It's not about discrimination or not being tolerant. It's about protecting marriage in the sacred way it was designed and protecting our freedom to practice our religion freely and without fear of punishment from the law. If proposition 8 fails, churches who refuse to marry same-sex couples can be sued for discrimination. That is infringing upon our freedom of religion as American citizens. It's not that we want to turn these couples away or that we believe we should not love them, it is that we believe marriage is and was designed by a loving Heavenly Father to be between a man and a woman. There are many other aspects to Prop 8 that will affect us all. We are gaining a lot of momentum with the support of Prop 8 and we can gain even more if we all reach out and talk to as many people as we can. I think it is also important that we remember 6 years ago we won this battle. 61% of Californians voted to protect traditional marriage. We can join together and let our collective voice be heard if we all lengthen our stride a little bit. We encourage everyone who reads our blog to make sure and vote yes on Prop 8 and help others become educated as well. Home teaching is a great time to make sure less-actives know what is going on with Prop 8 as well. Here is a website that has some great videos and links that would be great to share with all. www.preservingmarriage.org. Another great site is www.protectmarriage.com.

Lovely New Apartment

Brandon and I decided to redecorate our front room. We kept most of our decorations, but we wanted to have more space for when the baby comes. We spent all day last Saturday getting it together. We figured once Brandon starts school it might be a little crazy to start a redecorating party!!!

I think that it turned out great.
